Ms.Aziz

Ms.Aziz, all of my photos and explanations are located on this blog. I decided to do a blog because I believe that it looks orderly and also easy to understand. My photos were originally done in alphabetical order, but because of the settings, they are now in reverse order.

Different Types of Carbohydrates

Both of the foods photographed above contain carbohydrates, but the carbohydrats found in the pasta differ from the kind found in the Oreo. The carbohydrates in the pasta are complex, meaning that the energy released from the glucose created is slow and more sustained. Oreos on the other hand, contain a great deal of simple sugars which mean that the energy released from the glucose created is fast and unstable. Simple sugar carbohydrates can case peaks and crashes as far as blood sugars are concerned, and that is never a good thing. It is important to have a balanced diet.
