Ectotherm

The fish in the photograph above are examples of Ectothermic animals. These types of organisms include most fish, lizards, turtles, and others that cannot internally regulate their body temperatures. Instead, these animals use their surroundings, such as the sun or in this case, water, to stay regulated.
