The photo above is one of an Amniotic Egg. Although the egg does not contain an actual fetus, it represents the qualities and characteristics shared by a true amniotic egg. The outer shell is hard, in order to protect the inhabitant, and the inside is filled with all of the nutrients that the fetus will need to successfully develop.
